The phrase crawl before you walk is an interpretation of taking small steps towards achieving larger goals. In respect to fitness those of you who may be intimated by by big box gyms (although they are currently closed) or are not sure what workouts to do, take action today. Rid yourself of the reasons why you can't and start slow.
Given the current situation with COVID-19 we have a unique opportunity to start your process within the comfort of your home. The caveat is the challenge of initiation. So what are some of the things we can do to get moving? In no particular order I have generated a list of options.
Clean your house.
Dance around the house with your family
Do outdoor chores
Take an online fitness class
Take a walk.
Just walking every day will maintain healthy weight, prevent heart disease, strengthen bones & joints and improve your mood. You don't have to be an elite athlete or have a fancy gym membership to lead a healthy lifestyle. Get up and move fitfam!
